In-network therapy with CareFirst BCBS, Maryland.
Sanare Counseling Group is a fully in-network provider with CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield of Maryland. That means most members pay only a copay per session — typically $0 to $40 — with no out-of-network paperwork, no Reimbursify dance, no surprises. Therapy, psychiatry, and ADHD evaluation, all covered.
Your CareFirst BCBS plan likely covers all of this.
Specific coverage depends on your plan. Our intake team verifies exactly what your benefits look like before your first session.

Not on CareFirst? We’re also fully in-network with these major Maryland plans.

CareFirst BCBS and Sanare.
What’s my actual copay?
Depends on your specific plan. Most CareFirst BCBS members pay between $0 and $40 per session. We verify the exact amount before your first session.
What if I haven’t met my deductible?
Some plans require you to meet a deductible before coverage kicks in. We’ll tell you upfront if that applies to your plan and what the negotiated session rate is in the meantime.
Are there session limits?
Most CareFirst BCBS plans don’t cap mental health sessions thanks to mental health parity laws. Some plans do have soft limits that can be appealed. We handle that if needed.
Will my employer or family see my diagnosis?
No. Claims to insurance contain coded diagnostic information but employers and family members do not have access to your records or session content. HIPAA protects this.
Can I use BlueCard if my plan is from another state?
Yes. Many out-of-state CareFirst and Blue plans process through BlueCard. We verify coverage the same way.
