Juliann Siwicki, LGPC
Juliann graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communications from Marymount University and later completed her graduate studies at Bowie State University, earning a master’s degree in School Counseling. She furthered her education with an additional master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health from McDaniel College. Juliann has been a school counselor for Anne Arundel County Public Schools for the last 14 years, dedicating her expertise to supporting students and their families.
Juliann loves working with individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, with a special focus on anxiety and relational issues. She uses person-centered techniques and understands that each person benefits from different counseling approaches. Juliann employs the principles of cognitive-behavioral therapy to help her clients develop more positive thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. She believes that by changing our thoughts, we can transform our feelings and behaviors, leading to significant improvements in mental wellbeing.
In her practice, Juliann uses an empathetic, non-judgmental approach, tailoring her interventions to meet the unique needs of each client. She is experienced in integrating various CBT techniques such as cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, and mindfulness-based strategies to help her clients achieve their goals.
Outside of her professional life, Juliann is a proud mom of three beautiful children, which enriches her understanding and empathy in her work with families and individuals.

Maria Lorditch, Pre-Licensed Professional
Maria is a Resident in Counseling dedicated to providing compassionate care and support to women and mothers, helping them navigate life transitions with resilience and self-compassion. Creating a safe and nurturing environment is paramount to Maria’s approach. Her dedication to empathy forms the cornerstone of her therapeutic style, ensuring that each client feels understood and respected on their unique journey.
Maria establishes a space where clients feel encouraged to explore their emotions and past experiences without judgment or fear. Through empathy and active listening, she fosters a sense of trust allowing clients to embark on their healing journey with confidence. Through a holistic approach that integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Somatic Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), she is committed to helping clients discover the power of the mind-body connection for healing and growth.
Maria recognizes that every person is different, and with each session, she strives to gain a deeper understanding of which therapeutic style will be most beneficial for individual’s journey. Sessions focus on embracing emotions and experiences without judgment, while also helping to align actions with personal values and goals. Through mindfulness and acceptance, women are empowered to navigate change with authenticity and courage.
Maria completed her Undergraduate Degree and West Virginia University and received her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Bowie State University. Driven by a passion for empowering women and supporting maternal mental health, Maria is committed to furthering her knowledge and skills in perinatal mental health and Somatic Therapy. She looks forward to gaining expertise and training in these areas to better serve her clients on their healing journeys.
When she is not working, Maria enjoys spending time with her husband and their growing family, experimenting in the kitchen and playing with makeup!
