Our Story

Sanare means “to heal,” and healing is at the heart of everything we do. Bernard is dedicated to creating a warm, empathetic environment that fosters trust and collaboration. He understands the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, working with clients to identify and replace negative thought patterns with healthier ones.

Resident in Counseling INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP COUNSELING

Maria establishes a space where clients feel encouraged to explore their emotions and past experiences without judgment or fear. Through empathy and active listening, she fosters a sense of trust allowing clients to embark on their healing journey with confidence.

Coleen Alexander

Coleen earned her Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Bowie State University. She offers supportive, evidence-based therapy for anxiety, depression, relationships, and life transitions.

Nithya Ramesh

LGPC

Nithya is a queer Indian immigrant and counselor who supports individuals and couples, focusing on relationships and ADHD. She uses a warm, client-led approach grounded in liberation and draws from IFS and interpersonal therapy. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her community, pets, and nature.

Nicole

is a licensed therapist with a master’s in Clinical Professional Counseling from Loyola University Maryland.
She works with children (7+), teens, and young adults facing anxiety, depression, and life transitions, using CBT, DBT-informed, and expressive techniques.

Evelyn

specializes in working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families, demonstrating a strong commitment to supporting neurodiverse individuals and those dealing with anxiety, trauma, and depression.

Jen Caines

MBA, MA, RMHCI

Jen Caines, MBA, MA, RMHCI, combines 14 years of HR experience with a passion for helping clients build resilience and achieve personal growth. She supports children, teens, couples, and families facing anxiety, trauma, and neurodivergence using a variety of tailored therapies. Jen holds advanced degrees in Human Resources and Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is committed to providing a safe, affirming space for healing.

Dr. Newell provides counseling and medication management for anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Her collaborative approach draws on her expertise in behavioral health and pain management. As a U.S. Air Force Reservist, she is committed to serving diverse communities with dignity.

Dr Anna Binder-Baskina a board-certified psychiatrist trained at Johns Hopkins and Sheppard Pratt, specializes in mood, anxiety, attentional, and developmental disorders. She offers tailored assessments and medication support, combining clinical excellence with advocacy and whole-person healing.
